  • 1 Avocado
  • 1/2 Onion (chopped)
  • 1/2 Jalepeno (chopped) or 1 green chilli (chopped)
  • 1/2 cup cilantro (chopped)
  • 1/2 tsp chilli flakes
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2-3 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup tomatoes (I have not used tomatoes in this particular dip)


Peel and mash the avocado in a bowl (preferably a wooden bowl); add all the above ingredients and mash it with a wooden pestle. Add or subtract any of the ingredients according to your taste.

I love having my guacamole in the morning with rye bread or serve it in the evening with baked chips.
