Today, I get to style you in the BEAUTY department! As most of you know, before I got into styling, I was a free-lance make-up artist while completing my university degree. Hence, love for make-up comes from within, and there is nothing better to share my beauty favourites with you all. I generally tend to use my concealers that correct, conceal and highlight at the same time. The less product under the eye, the less the creases will show.
1. Cle de Peau Beaute Concealer
This Japanese brand does everything classy, from their packaging to their logo everything looks clean. Anyhow, aside from the exterior, this stick concealer has a rich consistency. Cle de Peau Beaute concealer is a medium to full coverage concealer with the lightest texture. I tend to use it on special occasions. It glides on beautifully! The drawback to this is the sky-high price; however, from the high-ends, this is definitely my favourite. Unfortunately it only comes in four colors.
2. Tarte Maracuja Creaseless Concealer
Tarte Maracuja concealer has to be the creamiest concealer; little goes a long way. It definitely is a full coverage concealer which works well for those with discolouration. I tend to use it more on the days which require more covering up than usual (yes, those sleepless nights). In terms of creasing, I feel like it does a fairly good job due to the maracuja fatty acids in the product, helping it to replenish and rejuvenate the skin. I don’t like the usability of the product as it can’t be used directly on the face. However, it comes in thirty shades serving to many skintones.
3. NARS radiant creamy concealer
This has got to be my most loved concealer. I have been using this product time again and I seem to not get enough off it. I think I can go on raving about this NARS radiant creamy concealer for a page, but I have to say, if you haven’t tried it, you are missing out. It brightens up my complexion, hides the flaws and takes away the fatigue. This is probably the only concealer I would wear without my foundation as it gives me a glow. I use it on my chin, forehead and the bridge of my nose to highlight those areas. It has a build-able consistency which allows me to use as needed. It definitely is my to-go product.
