Spaghetti Bolognese

My most favourite childhood memory is eating this spaghetti bolognese (Keema sauce with spaghetti) at my grandmother’s place. The day my aunt would know I am to come visit them, she would make sure to cook my utmost favourite meal. At last I have learnt it myself and now I cook it all the time.

Bolognese Sauce Ingredients: 

  • 1 pound meat 
  • 1 big onion and 
  • 1 big tomatoe 
  • Garlic Paste (1 tbsp heaped)
  • Ginger Paste (1 tbsp heaped)
  • Red chilli powder (1/2tsp)
  • Coriander powder (1tsp)
  • Turmeric powder (very little) 
  • Salt (according to taste)
  • Vinegar (1 tsp)
  • Tomato (chopped)
  • Yogurt
  • Oregano
  • Ragu Sauce
  • Vinegar
  • 1 Whole green Chili

Fry:

  • -chopped onions until gold/brown
  • -Add lots of cumin seeds – let it fry for a minute (make sure it doesnt get dark) 
  • -Then quickly add the meat

Add:

  • Garlic Paste (1 tbsp heaped)
  • Ginger Paste (1 tbsp heaped)
  • Red chilli powder (1/2tsp)
  • Coriander powder (1tsp)
  • Turmeric powder (very little) 
  • Salt (according to taste)
  • Vinegar (1 tsp)
  • Tomato (chopped)

Let it cook until meat is almost done, then add:

  • Yogurt (1-2 tbsp) 
  • 1 green chilli whole 

After the meat is done, add:

  • full bottle of ragu sauce
  • lots of oregano 
  • little bit of vinegar 

Boil spaghetti and add the meat sauce on top.
