Here’s my motto for 2016, not just in fashion but in life. When in doubt, give it a shot and it will always be worth your time. This experimental spirit is essential in keeping up with the latest trends and mixing it with your personal style hence this post – formal meets fusion.
The emerald green cape I am wearing is by Aleena and Fareena (Pakistani Designers) who were cooperative, understanding and so punctual with my order! They are always in with the latest trends and take the time to create unique pieces. As you all know, I absolutely love pairing eastern and western designer pieces together to create my fashion fusion look so I decided to mix this very Pakistani creation with my Torontonian vibe. Nothing says T dot like turtle necks and high-waisted pants.
These wide leg trousers from Zara are the perfect amount of ‘formal’. You can wear them to fancy occasions and easily transition them into work wear. Don’t be afraid to give printed pants a shot; you’ll be amazed at how versatile they can be. I paired my look with Stuart Weitzman strap studded heels to add length and accentuate the trouser’s fall.
